10 Tips For PPC Advertising Success - How to Maximize Your Profits

PPC Advertising has massive potential to make you all the money you will ever need. But how do you make it successful? Here are 10 tips for PPC advertising success: how to maximise your profits.

1. Choosing a Product - When selecting a product for selling using PPC there are several things to consider. For example it is better to chose an electronic product because the buyer can purchase and receive it immediately. Next thing is to chose an affiliate network that can manage product distribution, commissions and support for refunds etc. There are many like Clickbank and Commission Junction, but Clickbank is the easiest to start with (can be set up in 5 minutes) and is extremely popular. Make sure that the vendor that is selling the product through Clickbank is affiliate friendly and provides great support. Make sure that the product they are selling is popular and sold by other affiliates. This sounds counter intuitive but it is vital that you select products that are already popular. Why? Because they are proven to make money.
2. Domains - When selling someone's product you have a choice of directly linking to their sales page or using your own domain and then redirecting. Direct linking is useful for testing but will not be as profitable unless you use your own domain. Search engines like Google, Bing etc prefer you to have your own domain and web site which then links to the vendor's sales page.
3. Choosing keywords - Search engines work by taking the keywords that you type in and presenting a list of PPC adverts. The order of which these are presented to you depends on how relevant they are (to the keywords), their quality (and the quality of the web site that they are being linked to), and finally the bid price for the keyword. So in selecting your keywords you must make them relevant to your web site where you are selling your product. The most popular keywords are the most expensive to bid on. So, aim for the longer keywords/phrases that are available (called 'long tail') which are more specialist.
4. Organising keywords - Once you have your list of keywords (start with 1000 to begin with although this will depend upon your daily budget). You need to organise your keywords into adgroups which are related. For example keywords that contain similar words can be grouped together into adgroups etc. This is important because it helps you make changes when you are managing your campaign. This is the secret of optimising everything to make it more profitable. Use Microsoft Excel to organise everything. Its a fabulous tool that will make your work a lot easier.
5. Ads - Once you have your AdWords you need to create your ads. PPC ads need to be short, sweet and direct. They consist of a headline, descriptions (2 lines), display link (a visual link to a site) and the actual link to the site. So how do you write these ads? Some tips include, placing keywords in the ad, using emotional language, defining a feature and benefit or a call to action. One very important point; you must check the guidelines published by the search engine on what you can and cannot do in an ad. If you mess up you will be punished! So be warned.
6. Use AdWords Editor - At this stage you have your list of organised keywords and ads. Now you have to get these into your account provided by the search engine. You need to create an account and in this example we will assume you are using Google AdWords. So create the account and explore. Now you could enter your campaign one keyword at a time and probably make a lot of mistakes along the way. Fortunately there is another way by using the Google AdWords editor. Download this to your machine and launch it. There are many benefits to this tool including:
* You can use it offline to build your campaigns and then synchronise with your AdWords account.
* You can copy and paste from Excel all of your keywords, ads etc straight into the tool
* With active campaigns you can download the latest data and make bulk changes which simply are not possible any other way.
So download it, and use it.
7. Landing Pages - We have already stated that having your own domain is crucial to long term success. When a prospect clicks on the PPC advert they will be sent to your web site and your landing page. This page is crucial, as a prospect will look at it and probably choose within 5 - 10 seconds whether they are going to stay on the page. So the look and feel of this page is crucial. You have to grab their attention and keep it. The colour of the text, fonts, headlines, use of video, pictures etc is a very exact science which you need to understand. It is important that you study the art of copywriting which is the art of writing sales copy. This is so important that if you don't master it, then everything else is irrelevant.
8. Initial Bids - Ok, so now you are ready to go. What price to you start bidding on your keywords. This is always difficult, and will depend upon many factors. You need to conduct some research, find out how much other sellers are bidding for on these same keywords. There are plenty of tools out there than can help you do this. If you don't want to research then start of with a bid that is roughly equivalent to 0.01 times (or 100th) the amount of money that you will earn from each sale.
9. Optimising - Now your adverts are running and you are getting feedback from the search engine. At regular intervals your Google AdWords account will update you with statistical information about your campaign, which can be synchronised back to the AdWords editor and viewed offline. Here you will see the best performing ads, keywords and adgroups. You should wait a few days before making any changes because they have to be statistically significant. then start increasing or decreasing the bids on keywords depending on their performance. This is important to increase profitability and there are many strategies that can be applied to help you achieve this.
10. Running Your Campaigns - PPC advertising is an extremely lucrative business with millions of people making millions every year. Those that are successful are persistent, work hard, learn from the best teachers, and are patient with their results. The only way to know if a campaign will work is to test it, optimise it and then scale it up. You need to try multiple campaigns and keep the momentum going before you will achieve success.

By following 10 tips for PPC advertising success: how to maximize your profits you will improve your chances of a profitable business. If you want a start a PPC based business then your first step is to learn from the best teachers that are available.

5 Great Reasons To Start Blogging

Blogging is a difficult area for many people to get into. Whether they're unfamiliar with the technology, unsure of the benefits, or simply unsure of whether it's worth the personal investment to them, blogs can draw questions and attention from many people. While blogging certainly isn't for everyone, there are many circumstances where starting a blog can be both a beneficial professional, financial and education experience, offering anyone the ability to promote themselves and stand out from the crowd. Here's a quick rundown of five of the best reasons to start a blog, along with detailed reasons for each one.

#1 - When your name is out there, you can control what people see when they search for your name. Unless you're called Joe Smith, it's unlikely that there's anyone else with your name that's blogging on the same subject as you. When you control the content that's tied to your name, you control what people see when they search for you, and in turn their impressions of you.

#2 - It gives you the opportunity to market yourself online. Without a blog, you're just another person lost in the noise of the internet. Start a blog and you can control what people see when they research you, allow potential contacts and employers to see what you're thinking, and advertise your skills and abilities to the entire online world.

#3 - With a blog, you can improve your writing skills and develop a voice. A lot of wannabe writers look for shortcuts to success, and the truth is that there are none. Develop a voice and you can stand out from everyone else, and market yourself on your communication skills. With the internet making everyone's communication platform equal, those with the greatest communications skills are invariable the ones that will be given the most attention. Starting a blog gives you the chance to develop and refine these skills.

#4 - You can connect to people that share your interests and ambitions. There's a lot of talk in social media circles of 'connecting'. While blogs are nothing new in terms of social media, they're ultimately one of the most important connection tools on the internet. Let people know what you're thinking, and connect with influentials and like-minded people by sharing your thoughts, research, and opinions with them.

#5- You might just make some money. With the many advertising and monetisation options available to webmasters right now, monetising a blog to produce a small income is as easy as putting up a couple of Google Adsense ads, or selling off small advertising spots to local, or subject related businesses. The most important part of this is that it's impossible to make a loss blogging. With the free blogging software available you'll never lose money, and even if you don't crack a healthy profit, you'll still develop key skills that allow you to market yourself to employers and other influential people.

Good luck in the blogging world. It's easier than it looks to just jump straight into it, and the benefits and rewards of participating are endless and important.

Seo Basic Link Building

Every webmaster is left with his own style of the building. But my link building campaign is completely different and search engine friendly. I have worked for many keywords and have successfully bought these keywords on Google first page with a list. From experience I can say that my link building campaign works like charm.

As my link building campaign works for a website or blog?

Frankly, you should not rely on fatly links, especially if your domain is new. Building links should be very carefully done, and it should look very natural to search engines. My link building campaign:

1) Social Bookmarking - 1 Step 2) Directory submission - 2 Step 3) Article Marketing 3 Step 4) Blog Comment - 4 Step 5) Contextual links from theme related pages - 5 Step 6) subject related blog roll links - Final Step

Social Bookmarking: Each link building campaign starts with manual social bookmarking. You have to deliver unique content to every social media site and the keywords to be 100% on your website or via Google will consider a related keyword spamming. Social bookmarking is a great way to make social media traffic for each site.

Directory submission: Try to take your site to 300 niche related directories manually submitted along with the right keywords and description above. Now one days, many directories require a reciprocal link. You are not accepting our website, unless if we have not added your site in any of our websites. For those directories that you need to make a separate page where you can create all the directories that require reciprocal linking site. Our website is very fast, if we have a reciprocal link to the desired directories.

Article Marketing: Many webmasters say content is king. And it can bring organic traffic from search engines. To my knowledge, I can say that article marketing is one of the best off-page optimization to gain high quality links from article directories. Write an article and 10 more unique spin on by hand. Try to submit every article manually to each article directory. Through my association building campaign I give too much stress, Article Marketing, why, because it deals with the content and quality contextual link building.

Blog Comment: One of the most powerful can link design, the popularity of your website visibility and higher search engine ranking position increase results for targeted keywords. But please do not spam sites and forums with inappropriate comments, and many anchors.

Contextual Links: Contextual links looks very natural to the major search engines. I always recommend content based on related links. Topic search for websites and ask blog post from the site owner. These links will definitely help you in higher SERPS.

Blogroll links: According to my knowledge, I always recommend theme related links page. Blogroll links will help you during the registration site wide links. If a site is indexed 1000 with inside then you will get 1000 backlinks to my knowledge. Try Contact Webmaster blogroll links, the sites are 100% on your website relatives. If he or she agreed to pay some incentives for site-wide blogroll links.

These are the 6 important link building methods in my link building campaign. These methods are strong enough to rank in higher search engine rankings. There are many other methods such as link building forum post, sponsored links, press release and submission, and many other methods. But these methods are not as strong enough to rank.
